How do I get started?

Go to the Start Up tab.  The first time you use the site, you will need to sign up giving your name and email address.  That's it.  Now you will get notices each time a new blog is posted.

How do I start to participate?

1. The easiest way to get started is to make a comment about a post.  You might share new information on the topic, a picture, or other thoughts.  You might disagree with a comment or have other facts that are different.  Share them.  We want open discussion.

2. Adding comments is easy.  Click on Write a Comment.  In the comment box at the bottom of the page, write your comment.  Add your name and email. Click the Comment button to post your comment.

How do I add my photos and stories?

1. We would love to hear your stories and see pictures of Blawenburg and the people who lived here.  When you add your material, you are creating a post.  Posts are interspersed with the blogs, so they appear on the blog page.

2. On any blog page, look above the blog or above any posts and you will see three phrases to choose from:  All Posts, Photos, and Share Stories.  If you want to share just a picture or video, choose Photos.  If you want to share a story, which could also include a photo, choose Share Stories.

3. A new window will open and you can add a title and your photo and/or story.  

4. When you finish, take a moment to proofread your work, and then click on the Publish button.

5. Your name will appear automatically on the post, and people will be able to add their comments to the post.
